Purchasing a RIF (Airsoft Gun)
Purchasing a R.I.F:
For purchasing a R.I.F (Real Imitation Firearm) a valid defence is required as well as being over the age of 18. So what is this defence needed to purchase?
A UKARA license allows a person of over 18 to purchase and possess an airsoft weapon that isn't painted in the two-tone colours. The UKARA license allows us as a retailer to check the eligibility of a buyer and ensure he/she is a valid airsoft player and member.
Two-Tone Airsoft Guns:
Two-Tone airsoft guns allow for someone who is 18 but without a UKARA license to purchase an airsoft gun. We offer most of our range in a two-tone capability which is great for anyone looking to buy an airsoft gun.
Note: when having a airsoft gun resprayed 51% of the gun will be sprayed a bright and non-firearm like colour to distinguish it from a real firearm. We charge an additional cost for respraying and it will automatically be added into the cost.
Getting a UKARA:
UKARA registration is free and only requires the player to have played at the same UKARA registered site 3 times within two months. The registering player must be of 18 years of age, live within the UK and be able to provide two forms of identification such as a passport, drivers license or bank statement.
If you meet these requirements you will need to print a UKARA registration form from the UKARA website which is linked below. If you don't know how many games you have played speak to the field owner or manager as they will be able to help.
Ready to apply or looking for a list of UKARA registered retailers, visit the official UKARA site here - http://www.ukara.org.uk/
If you are unsure or have any questions about the process please feel free to get in contact with us and we will be happy to help you with all your questions.
